This catalogue of destinations is designed to give you an idea of where we go and our areas of expertise. Sample itineraries are provided for the more popular areas we visit and can be used when planning a trip yourself. Just because there is an itinerary there does not mean we have a tour scheduled to go. Prices are not included in the sample itineraries and will need to be requested as required. We visit a wide range of destinations throughout the Pacific region and also some much further afield in Africa and the Middle East. We have a great deal of experience in these areas and between our guides, have lived and worked, for varying periods of time, in most of them.
The majority of our tours are privately commissioned and customised for individuals and small groups. Sometimes these groups would like extra people to join them and we advertise the tours on our website. We are happy to offer this service to anyone but be aware that we cannot guarantee any other people will want to go.
Our tour groups are small and we rarely take more than 6 participants unless especially asked to do so by the group commissioning the tour. We feel that small groups make for better birding particularly in the forest environments where most of our tours take place. Because our office staff is small we do not have the costly overheads of some of the larger companies and you may be pleasantly surprised at the cost of your small group trip.
While we are not offering budget birding, camping and very basic local accommodation are sometimes necessary if we are to visit the best birding areas. Most of our trips are very comfortably accommodated but in the more remote areas of the Pacific Islands and Australian Outback there is not always much of a choice available.
We are more than happy to tailor your trip to meet your individual requirements and when considering one of our standard itineraries, remember, there are often lots of other interesting places to visit that can be incorporated depending on your time, finances and birding wish list.
